Overview
The Hire Right! workshop provides managers and supervisors with the skills they need to conduct effective interviews. Participants will learn how to identify talented applicants while avoiding common legal pitfalls.

Half day (4 hours)

Description
A variety of active training techniques are used to fully engage participants, including role-playing, group discussion, and personal reflection.The following topics are covered:

  • Creating interview questions that effectivelyhighlight a candidates qualifications
  • Appropriate and inappropriate interview questions
  • Techniques to avoid inappropriate topics broached by applicants
  • Ways to sell the company and the position to prospective candidates
  • Using resumes and applications to formulate effective interview questions
