According to HR.com and I4CP, 47% of new supervisors receive no formal supervisory training. Their functional skills may have landed them the supervisor position, but now new skills are required. This workshop provides the foundational concepts required to be a supervisor.

Workshop Overview
This workshop introduces participants to the foundational concepts required to effectively lead other people.
Audience
- New or first-time supervisors
- Leaders who manage new or first-time supervisors
- Any leader who wants to “get back to the basics”
Time
This workshop is available in two formats:
- Full day
- Two half-days (four hours each)
Description
The training makes extensive use of role-playing and group discussion to help participants fully understand the concepts presented.

- Understanding leadership styles
- Establishing a vision and goals
- Organizing work and managing priorities
- Effective delegation
- Performance management – motivating employees
